How to use these guidelines

Google shows up in people’s lives all over the world. People see our products through the work of other businesses, organizations, and individuals on an everyday basis.

If you want to name or refer to Google in your work, these are the guidelines for how to do it, whether you're a business owner, filmmaker, journalist, student, or otherwise.

However, you’ll need more information than these guidelines cover if you fall into one of these categories:

  • If your business has an official co-branding relationship with Google, sign in to Partner Marketing Hub so you can access the complete guidance.
  • If you’re part of an agency making work for Google, head to Google's Brand Standards site. If you need access, reach out to your Google contact.

Either way, the guidance that follows will give you the basics of how to include Google branding in your work. Read on!
